ZAFCO's journey
ZAFCO’s journey began in 1973, when the late Mr. Mohammad Hussain, together with Mr. Azim Yusufzai, laid the foundation of Zafar Corporation in Karachi, Pakistan.
Guided by Mr. Hussain’s entrepreneurial vision and Mr. Yusufzai’s strength in building robust distribution systems and trusted relationships, the business was shaped around service excellence, reliability, and long-term partnerships.
In 1993, driven by a shared ambition to expand internationally, the company established its operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under the name ZAFCO Group (ZAFCO Trading LLC).
Under Mr. Hussain’s and Mr. Yusufzai’s leadership, ZAFCO evolved into a dynamic enterprise with a diversified portfolio and an expanding global footprint.
Today, ZAFCO stands as a leading manufacturer and distributor of automotive tyres, batteries, and lubricants, serving over 1,200 customers across six continents.
We are also proud to operate one of the world’s largest warehousing networks, maintaining an average inventory of more than 1.5 million tyres to ensure seamless supply and customer satisfaction.

Mr. Hee Se Ahn
Hee Se Ahn joined the ZAFCO Board in May 2025 as an Independent Director, bringing with him extensive industry experience. He previously served as Executive Vice President at Nexen Tire and earlier as Managing Director at Hankook Tire, based in Seoul, South Korea. Mr. Ahn is widely respected as an authority within the global tyre industry.
